Ordering, Shipping, Returns and Warranty Terms



How to Order

Orders from individual customers must be prepaid, either by check or money order payable to "SoundBytes", or by AmEx, MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

Charge accounts are available for recognized agencies and organizations. Terms of payment are net 30 days. Purchase orders can be faxed to us at (516) 938-1513.

SoundBytes is pleased to quote special pricing on volume purchases by qualifying agencies and resellers. Please contact our customer service department for more information.

Backordered Items

Occaisionally, an item is not available to ship right away. If an item is unavailable, we will ship all available items on your order. The out-of-stock item will be shipped as soon as it is available, at no cost to you.

In-stock orders will be shipped within two business days of the day they are placed.

Shipping Information

Shipments are sent by FEDEX and USPS to all 50 states at the following rates:

Dollar amounts of:
$15.00 or less will be charged $4.95 shipping and handling.
$15.01 to $49.99..........$7.95
$50.00 to $99.99..........$9.95
$100.00 to $199.99........$12.95
$200.00 or more...........$18.95

Expedited shipping is available with overnight, 2-day or 3-day service for an additional charge, depending on the weight of the shipment.
International orders, please contact us for pricing and availability.
Our standard shipping method is FEDEX Ground.
Expedited orders placed after 3:00 PM, will likely ship out the following business day. Please be aware that weekend days are not usually considered a business day.

SOUNDBYTES is not responsible for any Taxes or Duties that may occur on orders that are shipped outside of the U.S.

New York State purchases are subject to sales tax, including sales tax on shipping charges, unless an item is specifically exempt.

Returns and Warranty Information

If a product does not satisfy your needs, you may return it within 30 days. Hearing aid accessories, batteries, computer software and special orders are not returnable. Before returning any item, please call (888) 816-8191 to obtain a Return Authorization number. Refunds and credits are issued for the amount of the merchandise, but shipping and handling fees are not refundable. To receive a full merchandise refund, items must be in as-new, resalable condition and in their original box with all instructions and warranties. A restocking fee may be deducted.

If an item arrives damaged, we must be notified within 24 hours.The product and packing material must be retained until the matter is resolved.

Unless otherwise indicated, we warranty products for 30 days. After this period, the manufacturer's warranty applies, and you must contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement of an item. Whenever possible, we will assist in contacting the manufacturer. Please note that warranties cover defects in workmanship and material only, not breakage or damage resulting from other causes such as customer abuse.
