The AlertMaster will alert you to a variety of events around your home that may be difficult or impossible to hear, like a ringing telephone or doorbell. This system does not provide an audible or strobe light option, but it does provide a flashing lamp alert, and a vibration option. Unlike other systems, the AlertMaster comes with pretty much everything you need (although you can add some modules for expanded functionality) in a single control unit.
If you want notification in multiple rooms, AlertMaster has a remote receiver that will flash a connected lamp to alert you when AlertMaster has been triggered. Both AlertMaster and the remote receiver flash a lamp in a distinctive pattern to distinguish between different events (doorbell, telephone, etc.), and also have a front panel that will light up to indicate which event has occurred.

Trouble-shooting AlertMaster
AlertMaster transmits signals wirelessly. When using this system, you'll need to make sure that the antennas are upright and unobstructed for the best results.
Each unit also has a series of dipswitches that are accessible inside the unit. They match the settings in the factory, but if one piece is not working correctly, it may be because the dipswitch settings do not match. If one unit is not responding, check dipswitch settings.
AlertMaster products have a range of about 80 feet, depending on the construction of your home. If a unit is not working, try moving it closer to the base unit to see if that solves the problem.
